Alison Jacques Gallery would like to congratulate Takuro Kuwata, who was one of two finalists awarded an honourable mention at the LOEWE Foundation Craft Prize 2018, presented by Jonathan Anderson and Dame Helen Mirren.
The LOEWE Craft award was launched in 2016 to showcase ‘excellence and artistic merit in modern craftsmanship’, aiming to acknowledge the importance of craft in today’s culture and recognise artisans whose talent, vision and will to innovate will set a standard for the future.
The 30 finalists will have their chosen work displayed at London’s Design Museum from 4 May to 17 June 2018.
