Veronica Ryan, ‘Cocoa Beans’, 2022
Veronica Ryan has produced a new lithograph, ‘Cocoa Beans’, 2022, for the launch of the 2023 School Prints programme at The Hepworth Wakefield. An ambitious project aimed at engaging primary school children in the local area with contemporary art and encouraging creativity across the curriculum.
In 2021, Ryan was commissioned to create work for The Hepworth Wakefield’s 10th birthday exhibition. ‘Cluster’, 2021 was acquired for their collection, alongside ‘Sweet Dreams are Made of These’, 2022 a major floor-based piece incorporating ceramic casts on a fabric base.
‘Cocoa Beans’ has been produced in collaboration with The Curwin Studio and The Hepworth Wakefield.
