The British sculptor talks to Danielle Radojcin from the Paula Cooper Gallery in New York – they discuss what may be Ryan’s biggest year in her career to date; in 2021, she will unveil a statue in east London to commemorate the Windrush generation, and open an exhibition at Spike Island in Bristol, a hotspot in the recent Black Lives Matter-related statues debate.
