One of London’s leading gallerists pays tribute to the pioneering Betty Parsons, who helped give the likes of Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, and Clyfford Still their first breaks in New York’s art world. The show focuses on Parsons as an artist in her own right rather than a trailblazing art dealer. She created colorful abstract paintings on the weekends in her Long Island studio.
