Alison Jacques has taken on representation of the sculptor Alison Wilding, who rose to prominence in the 1980s as a New British Sculpture artist. Her first show at the gallery will run from September 19 to October 26, across London’s key Frieze season, and will encompass about 20 years of work, including drawings and new pieces, Jacques says. Wilding’s work “continues to evolve and test boundaries”, she adds. Wilding was previously represented by Karsten Schubert, a champion of the Young British Artists, who died in 2019.
