[…] Alison Jacques now represents painter Quentin James McCaffrey, born in 1987 in New York.
After graduating from the New York Academy of Art in 2011, Quentin James McCaffrey developed a painting practice centred on imagined interiors populated by everyday objects such as mirrors, flowers, rugs and antique furniture. He received the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation grant twice, in 2020 and 2022, and took part in the Macedonia Institute residency in 2022.
Founded in London in 1994, Alison Jacques represents artists such as Ana Mendieta, Dorothea Tanning, Lygia Clark, Sheila Hicks and Dan Fischer, among others. […]
