Hannah Wilke is included in the exhibition ‘Zéro de conduite’ at the Serralves Museum, Porto, which has been curated by João Ribas and is on view to the public from 1 June – 9 September 2018.
‘Zéro de conduite’ presents artworks from the Serralves Collection that suggest gestures of refusal or resistance, either to normalising institutions such as the school or the museum, or forms of suppression, control, or convention. The show features work from alongside other works by John Baldessari, Christian Boltanski, Chris Burden, Marlene Dumas, Valie Export, Gilbert & George, Guerilla Girls, Piero Manzoni, Bruce Nauman, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Sigmar Polke, Dieter Roth and Danh Võ.
