Alison Jacques Gallery is pleased to announce that ‘Reencuentro’, a solo exhibition of works by Sheila Hicks, will be on view at the the Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino, Columbia, from August 2019 to January 2020.
Through more than 50 of her works and a selection of pieces from the Museo Precolombino, some of which have never previously been exhibited to the public, ‘Reencuentro’ presents a broad scope of Hicks’s work, through a thematic tour that puts contemporary art and the heritage of indigenous American art in dialogue.
