Ana Mendieta and Birgit Jürgenssen is included ‘The Irreplaceable Human – Conditions of Creativity in the Age of AI’ at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebæk. With works by more than 60 artists, this large-scale, interdisciplinary exhibition seeks to define the phenomenon of creativity from a broad, humanistic perspective. What are the conditions for creativity in society today? And is there reason to fear that artificial intelligence will take over and surpass human creative abilities?
The focal point of ‘The Irreplaceable Human’ is an examination of creativity in the light of the rapid advance of artificial intelligence into all aspects of our life. The exhibition engages with this very moment in time and with the question of whether, in our contemporary society, the conditions for creativity are present – or good enough. What can we do that computers and artificial intelligence cannot? What is it about humans that is irreplaceable?
