In collaboration with Freedom Quilting Bee Legacy, The Spencertown Academy present an exhibition of works by Gee’s Bend. Featuring more than 30 quilts created by six quiltmakers: Loretta Pettway Bennett, Stella Mae Pettway, Sharon Williams, Emma Mooney Pettway, Polly Middleton, Andrea Williams. This is the first time this generation of quilters have travelled outside of their community in Alabama for such a major exhibition.
