Alison Jacques is delighted to announce a solo exhibition of Graham Little’s work at Taka Ishii Gallery, Tokyo, on view from 19 March - 16 April 2022.
In what will be Little’s first time showing in Asia, the artist presents a body of highly detailed gouache works on paper. The works, delicate and dreamlike in their compositions, adopt the aesthetics of fashion photography and Baroque grandeur to set in place a series of tense oppositions, each of which is combined in just balance: beauty and decay, emptiness and presence, animate bodies and the spaces they occupy.
