Alison Jacques is pleased to announce ‘The Great Cosmic Mother’, the first retrospective museum exhibition of Monica Sjöö’s oeuvre, at Moderna Museet Malmö. Featuring some fifty works from Sjöö’s encompassing practice, it spans from monumental paintings to political posters and banners, to drawings and material from the artist’s archives.
The exhibition is curated in partnership with Modern Art Oxford and Moderna Museet, Stockholm where it will be presented from 18 November – 25 February 2024 and 13 May – 18 October 2023 respectively.
