Turner Prize nominee Veronica Ryan will be in conversation with curator and writer Jenni Lomax during Frieze week at 180 The Strand.
Veronica Ryan has been invited to discuss what extraordinary means to her; sharing her inspiring vision of life, art & culture, as a part of Moncler’s 70th anniversary at The Extraordinary Expedition, a multi-sensory journey into the brand’s past, present and future.
Ryan is currently the focus of a gallery show at Alison Jacques which follows the artists participation in the 2022 Whitney Biennial, New York, and succeeds her critically acclaimed 2021 survey at Spike Island, Bristol, for which Ryan has received a nomination for the 2022 Turner Prize (on show at Tate Liverpool from October).
From 1990 to 2017, Lomax was the Director of Camden Arts Centre in London where she established a programme of international exhibitions, artists and residencies. She is currently a member of the Tate Liverpool Advisory Council, the Henry Moore Foundation Grants committee and the Freelands Foundation Advisory Board.
