Veronica Ryan elected Royal Academician

Alison Jacques is delighted to announce that The Royal Academy of Arts have elected Veronica Ryan as a Royal Academician in the category of sculptor.
Founded in 1768, the Royal Academy of Arts is governed by a group of Royal Academicians who are all eminent practising artists or architects. Elected by these prestigious practitioners, Ryan joins the group as one of the prominent names in contemporary art.
This nomination follows Ryan’s Turner Prize award in 2022 and her OBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list in 2021.
